EOS 60 min Monthly Visionary and Integrator (2 people)

The Same Page Meeting is a regular one-to-one between the Visionary and the Integrator, the two leaders at the top of a company running on the EOS model. Its single job is to keep these two genuinely aligned, because when they drift, the whole leadership team feels it. This template is for that pairing and the time they protect to stay in sync.

When to use it

Hold it monthly, or more often early in the relationship. Use it any time the two leaders sense they are pulling in slightly different directions on strategy, priorities, or people.

Who attends

Just two people: the Visionary and the Integrator. Keeping it to the pair is the point. This is where they say the hard things to each other privately, before it reaches the team.

How to run it

Start with a real check-in, then build a short disagree list of anything the two are not aligned on. Resist solving while building the list. Then work each item with IDS until both leaders can honestly say they are on the same page, not just tolerating a decision. Close by restating what was decided and the single, unified message you will both bring to the leadership team. Alignment at the top has to be visible and consistent below it.

Facilitator tips

  • Be candid. The meeting only works if both leaders say the uncomfortable thing.
  • List disagreements first, solve second, so emotion does not hijack the agenda.
  • Aim for true agreement, not silent compliance.
  • Leave with one shared message, never two competing ones.

Common mistakes

  • Skipping the meeting when things feel fine, then drifting without noticing.
  • Avoiding the real disagreement and discussing only the safe items.
  • Walking out with the appearance of agreement but no real buy-in.
  • Sending mixed signals to the team afterward.

    Reconnect personally. Share what is on each leader mind so the conversation starts open and honest.
  2. Build the Disagree List 10 min
    Each leader names anything they are not fully aligned on. List it without debating yet.
  3. Resolve Disagreements (IDS) 30 min
    Work the list one item at a time with Identify, Discuss, Solve until both leaders are genuinely on the same page.
  4. Confirm Alignment 10 min
    Restate the decisions and the shared message you will both carry to the leadership team. Set the next session.
