The Quarterly Pulsing Meeting is a full-day leadership offsite, held every 90 days, where the team steps out of the business to review the last quarter, refresh the Vision, and set the Rocks for the quarter ahead. It is for leadership teams running on the EOS model who want each quarter to start with shared focus.
Hold it once a quarter, near the end of one quarter and the start of the next. It pairs with the weekly Level 10 Meeting, which keeps the quarter on track between these larger resets.
The same leadership team that runs your weekly meeting, usually three to ten functional leaders. Everyone who owns a Rock or a Scorecard number should be present.
Get out of the office if you can. Open with a longer segue to genuinely reconnect, then move into a clear-eyed review of the prior quarter Rocks and numbers. Re-read the Vision so the team is aligned before planning. The heart of the day is setting the next quarter Rocks: build the issues list, prioritize, and commit to three to seven company priorities. Spend the back half on IDS to clear the issues that would otherwise drag into the new quarter, then conclude with a crisp recap and a plan for what to communicate to the wider team.
You can adapt this template to your team and run it in OrgTP, carrying your Rocks, Scorecard, and issues straight into the weekly cadence. OrgTP is built on the EOS cadence, so quarterly planning flows directly into your weekly rhythm.
