The Constitution

The First Principles of
Organizational Intelligence

A constitution for the product, the people who build it, and the human and AI agents who will carry it forward.

Version 1.1 · July 2026 · Built and stewarded by OrgTP LLC

Inside, a philosophy. Outside, an outcome.

Preamble: Why OTP Exists

In every organization, words and deeds drift apart.

Decisions are made and then re-decided. Commitments are spoken and then fade. Knowledge leaves with people. Founders become the memory, the translator, and the enforcement mechanism for everything the organization meant to become.

The cost of that drift is paid in trust, repetition, lost time, and human potential.

OTP exists to close the loop between what an organization says and what it does, for every human and every AI agent, at every level, including the top.

This document governs what OTP builds, what OTP refuses to build, and how OTP itself must behave.

Jurisdiction

This is an internal constitution, not a sales script. It governs product choices, rights, behavior, evidence, and accountability. Positioning, pricing, and messaging may evolve. These laws may not be quietly bypassed.

The Foundation

The practical wedge. OTP begins with a problem that can be observed: the weekly leadership meeting whose decisions and commitments do not survive the week.

The enduring category. OTP becomes the system of record for what an organization says it will do and what it actually does. Over time, that continuous, evidence-backed loop allows the organization to understand itself more clearly, without pretending that any single model is complete or final.

The working axiom. Accounting reconciles what an organization has. OTP reconciles what it says with what it does.

The Loop

OTP is a continuous practice, delivered through software:

SAY → RATIFY → DO → RECONCILE

What is said is captured. What is ratified is tracked. What is tracked is reconciled against what is done. What is learned updates what is said.

The Laws of OTP

Each law must do two things: demand product behavior and prohibit product behavior. A principle that cannot guide a build decision is not yet a law.

01

Ratification

Nothing becomes a commitment without a deliberate human act of ratification. AI may propose. It may not enroll. Unratified speech has the right to be forgotten.

Safe exploration is a precondition for honest thought.

02

Resolution

Every ratified commitment ends on purpose: kept, renegotiated, or released. It may not simply fade.

Closure protects trust without turning conversation into bureaucracy.

03

Evidence

The system asserts nothing it cannot cite. Every synthesis is signed, sourced, and able to answer: why am I seeing this?

Evidence comes before opinion. Representation must never masquerade as truth.

04

Contest

Any member may challenge any claim the system holds. Challenges travel with the claim. Disagreement is a recorded state, not an error. Role authority alone cannot erase a challenge.

A living organization contains legitimate plurality.

05

Symmetry

OTP holds power to its word first. The chief executive's commitments are chased as loudly as anyone else's. An organization unwilling to accept this law should not adopt OTP.

Accountability that only flows downward is surveillance, not integrity.

06

Rights

Every person can see what OTP holds about them, correct or contextualize it, and know who has looked. No inference about an individual reaches power without the individual knowing.

People should not merely feel held; they must possess enforceable rights.

07

Human Primacy

People are the protagonists. The organization is their instrument. OTP keeps the instrument honest. Ollie is the keeper, never the hero.

Institutional continuity may never outrank human dignity.

08

Visible Authorship

AI curation is authorship. Every AI contribution must be attributable, sourced, contestable, and transparent about why it was surfaced.

Neutrality is not claimed; accountability is designed.

09

Assent

The system maintains the record. Only people, assembled at a cadence, can perform the agreement. Meetings exist for disagreement, decision, creation, commitment, and care, not status collection.

The meeting is the heartbeat, not the census.

10

Re-Authorship

Leadership and members may deliberately rewrite the organization's direction. OTP serves re-authorship; it never defends yesterday against the people of today.

The system preserves continuity without turning continuity into captivity.

The Role of Ollie

Ollie is not OTP. Ollie is the visible guide through OTP: a reconciler with receipts, a keeper of continuity, and an AI participant whose authority is intentionally limited. Ollie may surface, connect, remind, challenge, and explain. Ollie may not silently ratify, conceal uncertainty, resolve human disagreement, or make itself the protagonist.

The Product Proof

The philosophy becomes real only when a customer experiences the loop without adopting the philosophy first.

Monday. A leadership meeting ends. OTP presents proposed decisions and commitments for human ratification.

During the week. OTP follows the lineage of each ratified commitment within OTP, without requiring duplicate data entry. Lineage across external systems and third-party AI agents is a later maturity level, promised only when built.

Friday. The organization can see what is complete, what slipped, what changed, and what remains contested, with receipts.

Next Monday. The meeting opens with last week's words reconciled against the week's deeds. The CEO's commitments appear first.

Result. No decision is accidentally lost. No commitment silently dies. The founder is no longer the sole enforcement mechanism.

What OTP Refuses to Become
Who OTP Serves

OTP exists for every person who has ever carried an organization inside their own mind:

The Hundred-Year View: What Winning Looks Like

OTP wins when the practice becomes ordinary, invisible, and expected; when not doing it feels reckless.

The goal is to become boring: a literacy, not a novelty. A practice so useful that competent organizations simply do it.

Governance of This Constitution

This document is itself a ratified commitment. It must live by the laws it declares.

The Amendment Test
  1. Does this change protect or weaken human dignity?
  2. Does it increase or reduce evidentiary integrity?
  3. Does it make power more or less accountable?
  4. Does it preserve safe exploration and deliberate ratification?
  5. Does it clarify a build decision or merely make the document sound grander?
  6. Does it help OTP close the loop between word and deed?
Amendment Record
The Declaration

OTP frees people from being infrastructure.

It does so by making the distance between word and deed visible, accountable, and capable of being closed, without sacrificing the dignity, agency, or plurality of the people who make the organization real.

The founder's freedom and the organization's continuity become possible in the same moment: when no single mind must carry the whole.
