Someone on your team is going to connect a personal agent to work this month. Maybe they already have. Muse had 10.9 million downloads by October 20. Claude Duet opened a waitlist to every US Pro and Max subscriber on October 21.
One page is enough, with an owner and a date to look at it again. Here is the page we would start from. Change anything that does not fit.
Personal agents at [Company]
Owner: [one name]. Review date: [90 days from today].
1. You are welcome to use one
Personal agents like Claude Duet, Meta Muse, OpenAI dots and Gemini agent can make your work better. Use one if you want to. Tell [owner] which one you connected and to which work systems.
2. Start from the plan
Connect your agent to [the system that holds our priorities, numbers and commitments] first. That is how your agent knows what the company decided, not just what is in your inbox.
3. What your agent may do
| Your agent may | Your agent may not |
|---|---|
| Read anything you can read | Read systems you are not allowed to read |
| Draft anything for you to review | Send anything to a customer without your review |
| Update what you own, with your approval | Change what someone else owns without that person's approval |
| Add notes, to-dos and problems in your name | Delete records |
| Prepare your part of the weekly meeting | Speak for you in the meeting |
4. Always a person
These always need a person, whatever your agent's own settings say: payments, contracts, anything sent to a customer for the first time, anything about someone's job or pay, and any change to a decision the leadership team made.
The agents agree on most of this already. Claude Duet asks before it sends, pays, signs or deletes, and will not trade securities or move money between accounts even if you tell it to. Muse asks before sensitive actions. Keep those settings on.
5. Agent work is marked
When your agent changes something in our shared systems, it should show as your agent acting for you. You are still accountable for it. If a system cannot show that, tell [owner].
6. Mistakes
Agents misread things. Anthropic says Duet "can still misjudge what's urgent." If your agent gets something wrong, fix it and tell the owner of whatever it touched. No blame for honest agent mistakes that are reported. Hiding one is a different matter.
7. When you leave or change roles
Disconnect your agent from work systems on your last day, or when your role changes. [Owner] will check.
Why one page is enough
Every line above is about ownership: which system is the starting point, who owns what, who approves what and who answers for it. Those answers do not change when the next agent launches, and one will, probably before your review date.
We wrote a longer version of this thinking for agents coming from outside your company, in Open, closed or ready: decide your company's AI agent policy on purpose. This is the inside version.

Give your team's agents the plan
Personal agents read whatever they are connected to. OTP is where your company's chart, priorities, scorecard and commitments live, and any MCP client can connect to it. In Claude or ChatGPT, add a custom connector with this address:
https://orgtp.com/api/mcp
Then ask: "Using OTP, what are my priorities this quarter, what did I commit to in our last meeting, and what is due this week?"

The series
- Muse, dots, Gemini agent, Duet: personal agents are coming to work.
- Everyone on your team is about to get a morning brief. Whose priorities is it built from?
- Bring your own agent is the new bring your own device.
- Your personal agent can read every email. It cannot read a decision nobody wrote down.
- Duet asks you before it acts. Inside a company, it should ask whoever owns the thing it is changing.
- When a personal agent marks it done, the record should say so.
- Twenty personal agents, one weekly meeting.
- A personal agent is not a team agent. Your org chart has to tell them apart.
- What to tell your team before they connect a personal agent to work.
- How OTP accepts personal agents.
