# Hoshin Monthly Review Template

Purpose: Track improvement targets against the bowling chart each month, run root cause and countermeasures on red items, and keep Hoshin deployment on pace.

- Duration: 60 minutes
- Cadence: Monthly
- Participants: Priority owners and their leader (4-10 people)

- [ ] Read the bowling chart, plan vs actual (10 min)
- [ ] Green and yellow updates (10 min)
- [ ] Red item root cause (20 min)
- [ ] Agree countermeasures with owners and dates (15 min)
- [ ] Confirm actions and escalations (5 min)

## Facilitator tips

- Spend most of the meeting on red items.
- Demand a root cause for every miss.
- Close every red item with a countermeasure, owner, and date.
- Escalate fast when a gap is beyond the team.
