# Weekly Content Planning

> A 60-minute Monday planning cadence that picks three evidence-anchored content pieces and assigns each a single owner.

**Category:** Marketing

**When to use:** Every Monday, before any new content gets drafted.

**Trigger:** Monday morning, 60 minutes, before drafting any new content

## Steps

1. Pull last week's content performance: what got read, what got shared, what landed flat.
2. Name the one piece that performed best against the business goal, not the most-read piece.
3. Pick three topics for the week: one operator story, one industry take, and one product or build update.
4. Give each topic a one-sentence brief: who it is for, what action it should drive, and the specific evidence it carries.
5. Assign each piece to a single owner with a Friday deadline.
6. Drop any topic where you cannot yet name the specific evidence.

## Outputs

- Three briefed pieces with owners and deadlines
- A last-week performance summary
- An updated content calendar

## Tools

- Analytics
- Content calendar
- CMS

## Notes

Content with no specific evidence anchor reads like an article anyone could have written. Evidence is what makes it yours.
